About the Artist


    "Twenty-eight years ago, when I moved to Vermont, I fell in love with its inspiring scenery and bucolic lifestyle. I have a love for painting, and I paint because of "an inner need". Each new painting challenges my skills; it begs me to go a little farther, to see a little more clearly, to feel a little more deeply. Using oil on canvas, I take advantage of Vermont's four distinct Seasons, each as unique as it's inspiration.
    Visiting Vienna, Austria's art museums in the early 70's, I was influenced by the realistic style of classic artists. Although my subject preference is New England landscapes, I have come to have a new respect for Still Life.
    My paintings can be seen in galleries, art shows and local businesses throughout the State. My husband and I travel throughout New England to photograph and paint its one-of-a-kind scenery."
