The boss let me escape the compound for 1/2 a day. We took one of the medevac helos for a 30 minute ride to meet up with
the medical people supporting the ISAF (the NATO led International Security Assistance Force) at the south end of the city.
The opthalmologist (a good pal for a radiologist to have) and I are ready to board.
